Description

The zodiac is a band of the sky that, in astrology, is divided into twelve signs linked to different times of the year. Think of it as a celestial map split into twelve parts: Aries, Taurus, Gemini, and so on.

If someone asks for your "sign," they usually mean the zodiac sign linked to your birth date. People often read horoscopes, which are predictions based on these signs and the positions of planets, to learn about love, work, or personality. Although astrology is not supported by science, this system has a long history and still appears in mythology, popular culture, jewelry, art, and fashion.
